Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or TANCET is the state level MBA entrance exam for Tamil Nadu. The exam is conducted by Anna University for the MBA admission to the participating management institutes of the state. TANCET is a paper pencil based test containing objective type multiple choice questions. Around 2,500 candidates take the MBA entrance

Eligibility Crtieria

Candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For the reserved category candidates, the percentage is 45.
The qualifying degrees are mentioned below:

(a) 10+2+3 years pattern

Or
(b) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
Or
(c) B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.

Or
(d) 10+2+AMIE
Or
10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State board of Technical Education) + AMIE
Candidates must be native residents of Tamil Nadu state.

All questions in TANCET MBA question paper will be objective type. There will be four options and candidates have to choose one.

The test comprises questions from five sections - Business Situations, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and English Language.
