Is There Sectional Cutoff In RBI Assistant Exam
 

I am planning to apply for Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant Exam and searching for details about exam cut off. Can you please provide me details like is there any section cut off in exam available if yes provide details also provide me eligibility and qualification to apply for exam?

The Reserve Bank of India will hold the online written exam, RBI Assistant Exam, in the month of November 2016, for recruitment to the post of Assistant in various offices of the Bank.

Cut off details:

General : 150+ Marks
OBC : 140 + Marks
SC/ ST : 125-130 Marks

Pay Scale:

Basic Pay- Rs. 8,860/- per month in the scale of 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances. Initial monthly Gross pay will be Rs. 24,429/-

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidate’s age must lie between 18 years and 28 years.

Educational Qualifications

You must have attained at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) and should also have the knowledge of Microsoft word.

Payment of Application fee- September 2016
Issuance of admit card- October 2016
Date of RBI Assistant 2016 Online Examination- Various dates on November 2016
Declaration of Written test result- December 2016
Interview/ Personality Test- December 2016
Announcement of Final Result- January 2017
