TNEA Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 12th board exam or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Candidates applying for TNEA must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 12th or equivalent exam

Short listing and seat allotment of the candidates through TNEA will be done on the basis of their marks in class 11th and class 12th

TNEA Selection Procedure:

For admissions to engineering courses, following factors will be considered:

Community-wise Categorization

Percentage of marks scored by a candidate in Mathematics and Physics in 12th Class

Percentage of marks scored by a candidate in the 4th optional subject
