Anna University has declared Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions TNEA Rank List 2016 on June 22, 2016 for candidates who applied for admissions to engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu.

The TNEA 2016 Rank list is based on the cut-off mark score and ranking algorithm of for same mark holders by the Anna University.

TNEA 2016 Ranks of the candidates are calculated on the basis of various factors including community categories, reservation criteria and inter-se merit guidelines.

The students holding the higher ranks will be invited first.

The students applied to the counselling will be invited to attend the counselling based on their rank. The rank will be in two types.

General Rank
Community Rank

TNEA Rank List is prepared considering following factors:

Community wise categorization

Marks in Mathematics

Marks in Physics

Marks in Chemistry

Marks in the 4th optional subject (Biology or Computer Sciences)

Date of Birth
