Manipal Academy of Higher Education, is a deemed university awarded by University Grants Commission. It is located in Manipal, Karnataka, India.

Total MBBS Seats

KMC Manipal- 250 seats
KMC Mangalore- 250 seats

Eligibility & Admissions

Duration: Four and a half years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Qualification:

Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

Admissions

General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.

Test Pattern

The test is two and a half hours long. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:
Duration: 2:30hrs
Physics – 50; Chemistry – 50; Biology – 70; English & General Aptitude – 30.
