Re: Visiting Assistant Professor Tax NYU Acting Assistant Professor of Tax Law program has launched the careers of dozens of tax academics. Alumni of this program have emerged as leaders in the tax field. Acting Assistant Professors of Tax Law (Tax AAPs) show promise as legal scholars and have a strong interest in teaching. Current Tax AAPs Ariel Stevenson Jeremy Bearer-Friend Former Tax AAPs Find a complete list of former Tax AAPs, from 1960 through 2018. Compensation and Benefits Tax AAPs receive an annual salary (currently in the low $60,000 range) and benefits, including health insurance. Tax AAPs may also apply for subsidized faculty housing. Each Tax AAP is provided with a regular faculty office, administrative support and a research budget. Important dates to apply: Applications for the 2018-19 academic year will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting on November 15, 2017.
