JEXPO also known as Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic Admission is a state level entrance examination.

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) conduct VOLCET examination every year in the month of April to offer admission in 3 years Diploma in engineering courses

VOCLET Physics Syllabus

Modern Physics; Current Electricty and Electromagnetism; Light: Lens and Dispersion; Heat; Simple weight-weight calculation using chemical equation; Avogadro’s Law; Properties of gases-pressure and temperature; Structure of Atom; Sound; Light; Work; Power; Energy; Newton’s Laws of Motion; Displacement, Speed, velocity and Acceleration; Rest and Motion; Change of state; Matter and Energy; System of measurements and Measuring devices

Examination Pattern

There will be 2 question papers with total 20 marks each and duration of 2 hours.
Paper I will include questions from Mathematics, whereas Paper II will have questions from Physics & Chemistry.
