Is VSSUT Burla a Good College
 
Can you tell me if Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla is a good college? Also list me the courses offered by it?

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, is a University Grants Commission (India) (UGC) recognized.

It is one of the best Engineering colleges running under government of the Indian. It is the oldest engineering institute in Odisha, founded as the University College of Engineering (UCE) in 1956.

Before getting University status it was the first educational institute in Odisha to be granted 'Autonomous' status in the year 1991. In 2012 VSSUT was awarded 12B status by UGC.

All the engineering courses of the University are AICTE approved.

It has signed an MOU with University of New Orleans, USA which says, the graduates of VSSUT will be admitted into various MS Programmes in Engineering, MBA offered by the University of New Orleans.

The students joining from VSSUT are eligible to receive the University of New Orleans India Friendship Award (UNOIFA) from the Graduate school at the University of New Orleans. This award will cover 70% of the non-resident fee.
