The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a notice declaring date and method for applying for National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017 on its official site.

Around, 390 posts will be filled through this exam: 335 for the National Defense Academy (208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy) and 55 posts for the Indian Naval Academy.

The last date for accommodation of use for the examination is June 30, 2017 till 6pm. The composed examination will be led by UPSC on September 10, 2017 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 140th Course, and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) beginning from second July, 2018. The date examination is provisional and obligated to be changed at the carefulness of the commission.

NDA Eligibility Criteria 2017

Nationality:

A competitor should either be (i) a resident of India, or ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan displaced person who approached India before the 01st January 1962 with the goal of for all time settling in India, or (v) a man of Indian birthplace who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the aim of forever settling in India

Instructive Qualifications:

NDA Educational Qualifications

(i) For Army Wing of National Defense Academy: twelfth Class go of the 10+2 example of School Education or equal examination led by a State Education Board or a University

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defense Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: twelfth Class go of the 10+2 example of School Education or comparable with Physics and Mathematics directed by a State Education Board or a University

Hopefuls who are showing up in the twelfth Class under the 10+2 example of School Education or proportionate examination can likewise apply for this examination
