Indian Institute of Science is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India. It was established in 1909.

Placements at IISc were quite good compared to last year’s records.

Placements are quite fragmented and vary for different department.

Placement session 2013-14 has been a huge success for Computer Science students at IISc, Bangalore.

Student’s wants to do high quality R & D in industry were placed in organizations such as IBM India Research Lab, Xerox Research Center India and several other research labs.

While major global companies like Microsoft, Amazon, EBay, NVidia etc. visited the campus and recruited a large number of students.

Exciting startups like Enlightiks visited the campus and offered excellent job profiles as well as good salary packages.

Financial firms like Goldman Sachs, American Express etc. also come at IISc and recruited a good number of students with attractive packages.
