Re: value of part time MBA

Part time MBAs are designed for working professionals who want to continue with a steady flow of income whilst getting their degree.

They also have the advantage of sticking around, at your job, and not having to start afresh, like full timers have to.

A lot of companies offer to purse the program in view of an opportunity for employee growth.

The classes of Part Time MBA are held in the evening hours or during a weekend.

Some weekend programs are residential, which gives the students a chance to experience full-time program by staying on the campus, interact and network with batch mates and faculty members and participate in non- academic activities.

Part Time MBA programs do not offer placement, it is best suited for those professionals who plan a career growth in their own organizations and do not plan to change job sector or domain or company.

This program is also suitable for entrepreneurs, for whom it would be otherwise difficult to take the break for one or two years.

Eligibility of Part-time MBA-

Graduate in any discipline from a recognised institute or university preferably with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA

Candidates should have minimum 3 to 5 years work experience

Some institutes have age limit for applicants where they state that candidates should not be less than 27 years old or not more than 50 years of age
