The Faculty of Engineering Christ University offers Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech) In Civil Engineering program of duration 4 years.

B.Tech In Civil Engineering program

Civil engineering involves the exploration, research, planning, analysis, design, construction, and operation of facilities essential to modern life.

Civil engineering systems include highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, and aerospace structures, railways, pipelines, dams, irrigation systems, towers, buildings for commerce and industry, water supply and distribution networks, and waste management facilities.

Duration 4 years

Eligibility

+2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2018 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels.

Lateral Entry:

3 year diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.

Selection Process-

Skill Assessment
The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.

Personal interview

Assessment of past performance in Class 10, Class 11/12, during the Personal Interview

Documents required for admission-

Class 10 Marks Statement (Mandatory).

Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and passed the examination (Mandatory).

Transfer Certificate (TC) of Class 12 from the last qualified institution (Mandatory).

Migration Certificate of Class 12 (applicable for all candidates except Karnataka state board applicants) (Mandatory).

One Stamp size and One passport size photograph formal dress with white background (Mandatory).

Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).

Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt).

Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:

a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).

b] PIO / OCI have to produce the copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
