Can you provide me the basis for criteria for declaration of cut off/ rank for Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management Admission Test (GITAM GAT)?

The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management Admission Test (GITAM GAT) Cutoff is determined prior to the announcement of the Result of GITAM GAT.

GITAM cut off marks is a selection limit which is applied on marks of one to classify the best lot out of them. If the difference between marks of one and cutoff is positive, one would be chosen for composition of merit list.

As there are a limited number of seats, it is important to make sure that superiority is maintained in admissions; hence the cutoff is executed across different streams, colleges and courses.

On the basis of the marks scored by one, colleges are allotted to the candidates.
