How BCA passed candidate can become Income Tax Officer

To become Income Tax Officer after completion of BCA course, you need to appear and crack Staff Service Commission (SSC) Exam. Those candidates who clear these tests will be called for an interview later.

Staff Service Commission (SSC) conducts an entrance exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates in the income tax department.

Eligibility for the post of Income tax officer:

-Must hold bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
-Age must be atleast 18 years and not more than 27 years
-Age relaxation is available for backward classes candidates

Exam Pattern

-Two separate sections are there in the written examination that is Tier I and Tier II.
-Those who get qualified in Tier I can appear for Tier –II examination.
-Duration specified to complete Tier I is 2 hours while for Tier II is 4 hours.
