What is the process to selection in IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO) post, for that will you please get details?

Ya sure I will tell you way of selection in IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO) post so that you can check it easily.

Selection Procedure
Selection Process is purely based on performance in Written Test & Interview. Written Test will be in Objective & Descriptive Type.

Objective Type Written Test consists :
Multiple Choice Questions on 1. General Awareness 2. General Knowledge 3.English Language 4. Reasoning and 5. Mathematical Aptitude.


Descriptive Test will be on English Language.
Based on the Merit in Written Test Candidates called for Interview depending on the No.of Vacancies. Interview Details will be placed in website and mailed to the Selected Candidates.

Tentative Pay
Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Pay Band-2) (Plus admissible Central Government allowances).

Examination Fees

An examination fee of Rs.100/- for General & OBC category (Male) needs to be submitted.

You can either deposit money through offline medium, i.e. by cash deposit at any branch of State Bank of Indian using the Challan form or through offline medium by using internet banking facility of State Bank of India or State Bank ATM-cum-Debit Card.

Scheme of Examination:
There will be a written examination for the post of ACIOII/Exe. There are two papers namely Paper I (Objective type) and Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only).

The total duration for both Papers is 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Paper I will focus on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Reasoning, Comprehension and Mathematical ability while Paper II will be designed to check the knowledge of English writing skill and analytical capability.
