Would you please tell what are the meaning of TA/TR, CC, LR & GRA in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Writing Scores?

As per your request here I am giving you meaning of TA/TR, CC, LR & GRA in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Writing Scores.

TA/TR :
Task Achievement/Task Response

Task Achievement is measured in Task 1, while Task Response is measured in Task 2.

CC :
Coherence and Cohesion
Refers to how well candidates essay is organized,.

LR :
Lexical Resource
Refers to use of vocabulary

GRA:
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
Refers to use of grammar.

IELTS Academic Writing test pattern:

Total time :
60 minutes.

Writing task 1

Should spend about 20 minutes on task 1
write in a formal style
write at least 150 words

Writing task 2
Should spend about 40 minutes on task 2
write in a formal style
write at least 250 words

IELTS Writing Sample

Sample 1:

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Present a written argument or case to an educated reader with no specialist knowledge of the following topic.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for governments to impose a higher tax on this kind of food.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

You should write at least 250 words.

Sample 2
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

The chart below gives information about the most common sports played in New Zealand in 2002.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.
