Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) is a women's university located in New Delhi, India.

The university offers B.Tech courses in four branches of engineering, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering and Information and Technology Engineering.

Bachelor of Technology B.Tech programs-

University offers following programmes:

Computer Science and Engineering(CSE)
Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE)
Information Technology(IT)
Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE)

The B.Tech programme is of 4 years duration.

Regular: classes shall be held on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

The student strength in every programme is 60 in each academic year.

Eligibility Criteria-

A candidate passed 12th from a recognized board with 60 % or
more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics.

Candidates must have passed English as a subject of study of the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective)

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course)
of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.),
New Delhi.

Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course)
of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi

Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the
Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E

5% concession of marks for Other Backward Class (OBC) / Defense Category (DEF) candidates

10% concession of marks for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Differently Abled Persons

Admission Procedure

The admission to B.Tech Program will be based on All India
Rank prepared by CBSE giving 40% weightage to class XII (or equivalent examination) and 60% to the performance of JEE(Main) -2016 Examination Paper– 1

The admission to B.Tech. program will be done through Joint Admission Counseling (jointly organized for DTU, NSIT, IIITD & IGDTUW).

85% of the total seats are reserved for candidate belonging to
Delhi Region and 15% of the total seats for candidates
belonging to outside Delhi Region.
