Ph.D + 03 year after PhD or 06 years total (not counting PhD enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. degree.

Associate Professor
Ph.D + 06 yrs. After PhD or 09 yrs. total (not counting PhD enrolment period) out of which 03 yrs should be after PhD. Three yrs. at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs.8000/- or equivalent in a reputed University, R&D Lab. or relevant industry.

Professor
Ph.D + 10 yrs. After PhD or 13 yrs total (not counting PhD enrolment period) out of which 07 yrs are to be after PhD; At least three years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution repute.
