Can you tell me in detail about the HRidaya – The HR Club and other Clubs of IIM or Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur?

Mentored by IIM Indore, IIM Sambalpur was registered as a Society under Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 on August 19, 2015.

HRidaya – The HR Club

The vision of HR Club of Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur is to provide a platform for HR enthusiasts to hone their skills and increase their knowledge base.

It also conducts the event “Talkaholics“, which gives an ideal pedestal for people to share their views on a variety of topics. It also intends to organize events to develop student’s interest in HR domain.

Other Clubs

Kalakriti-Cultural Club
It aims at nurturing diverse talents and providing a platform for the cultural enthusiasts to join together and reach new heights. It also seeks to mesmerize cultural lovers with various performances and promote different forms of art.

Be it through scintillating performances or the various cultural workshops like dance, music, drama, theater, etc. This year round we are aiming to soar the skies.

Sigmato – Operations Club
It helps its members to cultivate the interest in operations in an informal environment, without the pressure of being graded, by inculcating the virtues of product-process layout, batch-cellular-line process it helps the students to use operations in day to day life, by inculcating the concepts of Supply Chain Management and Logistics it helps its members to complete their tasks in the minimum possible time and in a cost-efficient way.

Vanijya – Finance Club IIM Sambalpur
Vanijya is an initiation to bring together participants who share an interest in the area of finance and investing.

It aims to achieve its objective of enhancing student’s knowledge in the area of finance through peer to peer learning and events conducted by its members.

Glossarium- Social Media Club
It is formed to manage the brand of IIM Sambalpur and provide a forum for its students to write about the topics that interest them.

From managing presence on social media platforms like Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter etc by regularly updating the in-campus events, to furnishing the required information to CAT aspirants – it is there to handle it all.

Emporias – Marketing Club
It is the marketing club of the IIM Sambalpur. It is a platform where a group of marketing enthusiasts work together and bring their efforts to cultivate the knowledge beyond the conventional course outlines.

It has crafted events like “The Talk”, a weekly event where the participants present their views on the various dimensions of the ever changing marketing scenarios and trends.
