Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (CAOS) is a centre within the Division of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

It takes students under three categories, namely, M. Tech. (Climate Science), M.Sc. (Engg.) and Ph.D. One with Bachelors and/or Masters degrees in Engineering and the Physical Sciences who has an interest in Atmosphere-Ocean-Climate Science apply to Centre.

Selection of students is based on an interview. To be called for the interview, passing a national examination such as GATE, CSIR/UGC JRF or the entrance examination conducted by IISc is necessary.
