I want to apply for Ph.D program at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. So tell me about the entrance exam conducted by IISC, what is the paper for the entrance exam?

The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers Integrated Ph D and PhD. The institute conducts entrance exam for providing admission in this program. In 2012 the exam has already been conducted on 29th April 2012 (Sunday). The timing of the test was as follows:

Research
(All papers are Objective types, except Atmospheric Sciences and Management Studies which has descriptive type also)
9 AM to 12 Noon

Integrated Ph D
(All the papers are Objective types)
2.00 PM to 5.00 PM
