A Post Office is situated at the Y - Point Gate (YP). Timing : 9 a. m. to 5 p. m.. (Postal Orders, Registration, etc upto 3 p. m. only).

Banking facility in the campus:

Canara Bank (near the guesthouse)

Working hrs: 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 11.30am on Saturday

Travelers cheques can be encashed (Passport necessary for identification)

State Bank of India (near the IIT main gate)

Working hrs: 9.45am to 1.45pm Monday to Friday and 9:45am to 12.45pm on Saturday

An ICICI ATM is right in front of the IIT main gate

Saraswati Co-op. Bank Branch (in front of IIT)

Working hrs: 8:30am to 12:30 pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday
