Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2016 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2016. Approximately 110 vacancies are there.

The IES exam 2016 was conducted on 07th Aug, 2016.

Eligibility Criteria-

Bachelor degree with at least one subject i.e. Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Geology, Botany, Chemistry, Math, Statistics, Physics, Zoology, Agriculture, Engineering, Forestry and Equivalent from a recognized University.

Age Limit:

The age limit should be in between twenty one (21) years to thirty two (32) years

Relaxation is for 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.

Recruitment Fees:

Candidates are responsible to deposit Rs.100 via Offline OR Online Mode but for ST, SC, PH and Female category no fees determined by authority.

Selection process-

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in prelim examination and personal interview.
