Eligibility Criteria -

General Service/Hydrography Cadre:
BE/B.Tech in any discipline from a recognised university.

IT:
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engg/IT or BSc (IT) or M.Tech (Computer Science) or BCA/MCA.

Engineering Branch (General Service):
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechtronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Aeronautical/Aerospace & BS Marine Engg.

Electrical Branch (General Service):
Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Tele Communication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control Engg, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, Control System & Power Electronics

Engineering Branch (Submarine):
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechtronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Aeronautical/Aerospace, BS Marine Engg., Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Automation & Robotics, Industrial Engg. & Management & Production Engg.

Electrical Branch (Submarine):
Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Power Engg, Electronics & Communication, Control System & Power Electronics.

Naval Architecture:
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Metallurgy & Naval Architecture.

Age Limit :

The age limit for Indian Navy SSC Officer posts is 19 ½ to 25 years.

Selection Process -

The Selection will be made on the basis of performance in SSB Interview.

The SSB interview will be conducted in two stages.

Stage I test, consisting of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Discussion Tests will be conducted on first day of arrival at SSB.

Stage II Tests comprising of Psychological Testing, Group Testing and Interview

Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical examination.
