IOCL DBTL Complaint

Can you provide me the Helpline Number of IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd) as I want to make complain against them for its PAHAL (Pratyaksh Hanstantarit Labh) (DBTL) scheme?

The PAHAL (Pratyaksh Hanstantarit Labh) (DBTL) scheme was earlier launched on 1st June 2013 and finally covered 291 districts. It required one to mandatory have an Aadhaar number for availing LPG Subsidy.

The government has comprehensively reviewed the scheme and after examining the difficulties faced by the consumer substantively modified the scheme prior to launch.

The modified scheme has been re-launched in 54 districts on 15.11.2014 in the 1st Phase and to be launched in rest of the country on 1.1.2015.

About the PAHAL (DBTL) Scheme

• One needs to have a bank account to join the scheme and receive LPG subsidy
• One also gets one time permanent advance in the bank account prior to buying the first market priced LPG cylinder
• One receives subsidy in the bank account as per the entitlement of subsidized cylinders
• Till one joins the scheme get cylinders at:
o Subsidized price for 3 months w.e.f 15.11.2014 till 14.02.2015
o Market price for next 3 months, but the subsidy due is given to them if join the scheme within these 3 months i. e. till 14.05.2015
• W.e.f 15.05.2015 all LPG one gets cylinders at market price and only one who joins the scheme receives one time permanent advance & subsidy from the date of joining
• To join the scheme and receive subsidy, one should use, Option 1 if have Adhaar and Option 2 if don't have Aadhaar:


Option I (Primary):
Wherever Aadhaar number is available it remains the medium of cash transfer. Thus, an LPG consumer who has an Aadhaar Number has to link it to the bank account number and to the LPG consumer number.

Option II (Secondary):
If LPG one does not have an Aadhaar number, then can directly receive subsidy in bank account without the use of Aadhaar number. It ensures that LPG subsidy is not denied to an LPG consumer on account of lack of Aadhaar number. In this option,
either one can
o Present bank account information (bank account holder name /account number /IFSC code) to the LPG distributor for capture in LPG database
OR
o Present LPG consumer information (17 digit LPG consumer ID) to his bank
