JEE Main Counselling Vacancies

I want to know the vacancies of seats in the counselling of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2016 so canm you tell me?

Joint Seat Allocation Authority has started the JEE Main Counselling 2016 from 24th June 2016.

Candidates, who declared qualified in JEE Main Exam, are eligible to attend JoSAA Counseling procedure.

With as many as 3,195 seats remaining vacant across 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, a spot round was conducted for vacant seats across the premier engineering institutes.

After counselling, spot admission round is conducted.

In spot admission round, it means student can direct admission in to the college as per his/her JEE (Mains)-2016 score.

For this round of counselling only those candidates will be eligible, who have not been selected in to any institutes or have cancelled the admission from previously selected institute allocated through fourth round of counseling.

There are only few centers for this spot round of counseling.

All the eligible students can take admission into any institutes as per their score; candidate just have to select a college, if student is eligible according to criteria and the seats remained in that college, student can be admitted.

Student has to pay required fees and supply the valid documents.

All the process of admission is on the spot, no need to visit particular college.
