The Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET ) is the initial phase during the time spent getting admission to the 2 year long full-time Postgraduate Degree Program in Management that are offered by the IITs. Right now IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee offer these projects. JMET 2012 was the last exam directed by the IITs.

JMET test has been ended. Since 2011, the IITs have started to acknowledge CAT scores.

The move has come when the Union government has proposed decreasing the quantity of national-level passageway trial of comparable nature to facilitate the weight on hopefuls, reports livemint.com

Other than CAT, other understood selection tests for administration instruction are XAT by the XLRI School of Business and Human Resources, Jamshedpur, MAT (administration inclination test) keep running by the All India Management Association; NMAT directed by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai; the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad Admission Test; the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test and the Graduate Management Admission Test.
