1. Define the term Business Environment and explain the factors influencing business environment.

2. Give a detailed note on Industrial policies prevailing in the country.

3. Explain the structure of Indian economy.

4. Define the term Sickness. Explain the symptoms, causes and remedial measures for industrial sickness.

5. Discuss the structure of BOP. Explain the various measures for correcting
disequilibrium in BOP.

6. Explain the magnitude and direction of Indian International trade. State the problems involved in it.

7. a) State the special features of SICA (special provisions),1985
b) Explain the need for regulatory framework for running the business in any country.

8. Casestudy:
Campa-Cola Ltd., is a great Indian company producing and distributing cool
drinks in India. The company has been in existence for the last 15 years. It has a large
manufacturing plant in Delhi and a fleet of trucks for the purpose of controlled and
efficient distribution of cool drinks in the neighboring states as well. Employees
working in the company are fully satisfied with the service conditions, promotional
avenues and welfare schemes launched by the company for them. Customers also feel
happy and satisfied with the drink in terms of quality and price. But after the entry of
two big multinational companies, Coca-cola and Pepsi, the entire situation has changed.
Campa-Cola has lost 90 percent of its market to these companies and it has become very difficult to compete with them:

a) If you are the founder of the company, how you will draft suitable strategy to
maintainable the survival and profitability of Campa-Cola in the light of
competition from multinational companies?
b) How can Campa-Cola utilize it strengths to regain its lost market share?
