Joint Entrance Examination Qualification

I have done my 12th with PCM and planning to do engineering degree for this I know I have to give the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Can you tell what the Joint Entrance Examination Qualification and eligibility to apply also provide JEE Main Examination important dates?

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination of objective pattern which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country.

Qualification Criteria

Candidates who have passed 12th class or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 (not before 2015) are eligible to apply for this exam.

Percentage Criteria

Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2017 must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in order to apply.

However For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs & CFTIs candidates must have secured at least 75% in their class 12th board exams (65% for SC/ST students )
