K L University or the Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, is a deemed university located in the Vaddeswaram Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the academic year 1995-96.

This EEE department is established with an under graduate programme, postgraduate programme in the academic year 2004-05 with Power Electronics & Power Systems specialization under Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University.
