KVPY Stream SX

Hello sir, what eligibility is needed for to attend KVPY for stream SX? Is there any one can provide me eligibility for KVPY stream SX?

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore specifies the Eligibility Criteria of KVPY for the students interested to appear in the scholarship/fellowship exam.


Stream SX:
For to attend KVPY stream SX candidates must have entered if they are class 12th students. Class XII Students with Science stream, who have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII boards and 80% in Class X boards, are eligible for the KVPY fellowship/scholarship programme.

Once the student takes admission in any of the courses of Basic Life sciences in the Undergraduate studies, the fellowship will be activated.

For SC/ST/PWD category candidates, a minimum of 50% marks are required in Class XII boards and 70% in X Class boards.

Important Dates:

Opening of online application portal : 18th July 2016
Last date for closing of online application : 30th August 2016
Last date for Payment of Application fees : 6th September 2016
Download Admit card : Second week of October 2016
Exam Date : 6th November 2016

Applicable for the candidates who have registered only on or before 30th August 2016
