Hey!!!! Last date of AP TS DIET CET DEECET 2016 was 03-05-2016



Eligibility Criteria

-Candidate should be of Indian Nationality

-The candidate should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.

-Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET-2016 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.


Age Limit:

The candidates should have completed 17 years
There is no upper age limit.



Academic Qualifications:

-The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10 + 2 during 2015-16 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent

-The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination for appearing in the DEECET both A & B category seats.

The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A &B category seats.


Scheme of Entrance Test

The Question Paper of DEECET-2016 consists 100 marks with objective questions.

-Part- A (60 Marks)
-Part- B ( 40 Marks)

Part-A is common to all applicants (10th Standard)

-Teaching Aptitude : 5 Marks
-General Knowledge : 5 Marks
-English : 10 Marks
-Telugu : 10 Marks
-Maths : 10 Marks
-General Science : 10 Marks
-Social Studies : 10 Marks

Part – B is optional – any one of the following (Intermediate level)

-Maths : 40 Marks
-Physical Science : 40 Marks
-Biological Science : 40 Marks
-Social Studies : 40 Marks
