The Punjabi University is offers M.Tech courses in various streams like Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, and Information Communication Technology.

At Punjabi University admission to M.Tech course is offered on the basis of GATE/University conducted entrance exams.

University conducts a single test for selecting candidates to M.Tech in CSE and ICT.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have Common Eligibility for admission is B.E./B.Tech degree with minimum 55% marks.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering should possess the mentioned qualification in any of following streams:

Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Production Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Material Science Engineering
Metallurgy Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering
Auto-mobile Engineering

Entrance exam paper pattern:
Entrance test for M.Tech in ICT/CSE comprises of 150 questions.
Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for the test also.

There will be three sections for the test.
Mental Ability & Aptitude Test
Computer Science
Mathematics

Each section carries 50 questions.
Total time for the test is 2 and half hours.
