Markathon, from IIM or Indian Institute of Management Shillong was the first Monthly Marketing Magazine to be launched among B-Schools in India. It has gained enormous popularity amongst students from premier B schools and corporate.

It features the latest news in the marketing world, articles from students of top B schools and interviews of eminent personalities.

The Marketing Club of IIM Shillong gathers the zeal of all marketing enthusiasts and channelizes it by way of various activities. This allows the students to judge the various aspects of marketing field beyond classrooms and control the same to get a stronghold in the professional careers thereon.

The club releases its magazine, spanning over a host of corporates and premier B- Schools. The much adored section-Vartalaap features interviews of eminent personalities enriching connection between corporate and academia.

Under KhlurThma, the flagship event of IIM Shillong, the club organizes Touchstone, its annual case study challenge. The popular intra-college event, ‘GodSellers’ is the annual marketing fair of IIM Shillong.

The Club keeps the essence of marketing upbeat across the campus by engaging all students in competitions and activities along with roping in various projects and networking opportunities.
