Applicants to the Francis J. & Wm. Polk Carey JD/MBA Program offered by University of Pennsylvania should apply through Whartons application for admission, which includes an integrated JD/MBA application section. One spends 1st year in Law School and the following summer in Law and Wharton courses designed specifically for the three-year MBA/JD. 2nd and 3rd year include a blend of Law and Wharton courses, including a capstone course in 3rd year and work experience in a law firm or corporation during the summer between 2nd and 3rd years. Experiential credits can be earned through simulation/skills courses, clinics, and externships. Wharton: Mandatory Wharton Pre-Term First year core courses (certain courses may be waived by experience or exam and need to be replaced with electives) A major Minimum of 15 course units(cus); maximum of 16.5; 5 cus requirement for a major JD/MBA Capstone Requirement: All JD/MBA students (3 and 4 year Programs) must complete the JD/MBA Capstone Course in their final year of their program |
