Can you tell me about the last date to fill up the online application form for CAT (Common Admission Test) 2018? Also tell me about the eligibility requirement for CAT 2018?

CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level management entrance exam for admission into top IIMs and other B Schools. Every year it will be conducted by one of the IIMs (Indian Institute of Managements) at rotational basis.

CAT exam is a management aptitude test organized for providing admission to students in postgraduate management programmes (MBA). Many institutions other than IIM consider the CAT score card for providing admission into MBA courses.

Online registration starts 9th August 2017
Last date for registration 25th September 2017 (Extended)
Application correction 27th 30th September 2017
Admit card release date 25th October 26th November 2017
Mock Test Release 30th October 2017
Exam date 26th November 2017
Answer key & question paper release 7th December 2017
Last date to submit objection 9th December 2017 (2:00 PM)
Result announcement 8th January 2018

Eligibility Criteria

One must hold the Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
One has to score minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST and PwD candidates).
One who is appearing in final year examination can also apply.
CS/CA/ICWA candidates are also eligible to apply.

CAT Exam Pattern
The exam will be organized on digital or Computer Based Test (CBT).
Total exam duration will be 180 minutes. Sixty minutes duration has been allotted to complete each section.
The questions will be multiple choice type and subjective type.
The question paper will comprise of total 100 questions.
Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
For multiple choice questions, one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer and for questions other than MCQs no marks will be deducted.
