The selection process in Professional MBA (Master in Business Administration) program offered by Sauder School of Business of University of British Columbia is rigorous. One is selected against competitive requirements to ensure that one learn from peers who have demonstrated vision, leadership and experience.

One is accepted on a rolling basis, and is reviewed holistically. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee admission into the UBC Professional MBA.

Academic Achievement

Minimum Requirements
3 or 4 years Bachelor degree with a B+ average, or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution
One who has previously completed an MBA program will not be able to apply to the UBC MBA.

Competitive Requirements
Applicants should have B+ or 76% or 3.3GPA.
Official transcripts must be arranged to be sent to Robert H. Lee Graduate School

GMAT/GRE
550 GMAT with at least a 50th percentile in each test section
OR
150 GRE score on verbal and quantitative section

Competitive Requirements
650 GMAT OR 310+ GRE score on combined verbal and quantitative section

English Proficiency
One must be able to speak, comprehend, and write fluently in English. An English proficiency exam is required for one whose degrees is from a university outside Canada or the U.S.A. in which English was not the official language of instruction.

At the latest, scores will take up to 6 weeks ensure one provide oneself with ample time from the deadline to write the test. One must arrange to have ones scores sent directly from the testing service organization.
