The Eli Broad College of Business and the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University are proud to partner in a dual MD/MBA degree.

MD/MBA Program

The MBA is a combined classroom and online program consisting of 60 credits: 33 credits of core MBA courses, 15 credits of concentration coursework in management, strategy, and leadership, and 12 credits of medical school transfers credits.

Students must apply to both the College of Human Medicine and Broad College of Business during the same application cycle.

Admissions Requirements

Applicants to the MSU College of Human Medicine must:

Be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident of the United States,

Have completed at least a four-year high school education or equivalent

Have completed all premedical requirements, including a bachelor's degree earned in the U.S. or Canada

Have taken the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)

Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)-

The college requires all applicants to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).

Year 2 MD Coursework
Year 3 MD Coursework
Year 4 MD and MBA Online Concentration Coursework
Year 5 MD and MBA Online Concentration Coursework

Admissions Timeline -

May AMCAS Application Available

Early June AMCAS application opens for submission

July Early Decision deadline for acceptable MCAT scores
July-Nov Verified Applicants invited to submit secondary application/letters of evaluation. Applicants may submit additional essays for LMU and LRM programs.
Early August Deadline for Early Decision applicants to submit AMCAS
Late August Deadline for Early Decision applicants to submit secondary application

Aug-March Select applicants invited to interview

September Deadline for acceptable MCAT scores (up to 4 years from current cycle)

Oct-March Acceptances made on rolling basis until the incoming class is full

Early November AMCAS application deadline

Late November Deadline for Seconday Applications, Fee, and Letters of Evaluation

January Submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); MSUs Federal School Code is 002290.

April Latest date allowed for refund on Acceptance deposit; Must choose to hold only one acceptance per AAMC Guidelines
August Incoming Class Ceremony, Orientation, and Classes Begin
