NID stands for National institute of design which was established in the year 1961.
This institute has three campuses in India-
1. Gandhinagar
2. Bengaluru
3. Ahmedabad

NID offers so many professional courses at Undergraduate and post Graduate level which have been given below.

1. GDPD (Graduate Diploma Programme in Design)
Duration- 4 years
Eligibility- Students can apply after 10+2 or equivalent like AISSCE/ IB/ ISC
And the medium of instruction at NID is English.

2. PGDPD (Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design)
Duration - 2 ½ years
Eligibility – Graduates candidate

Fees structure of GDPD-:

Tuition fee -1, 20,000
Studio & KMC charges/ IT infrastructure charges - 55,000
Hostel: Room rent & electricity charges -25,000
Insurance -200
Student Development Fund -400
Film Club -200
Security Deposit (refundable) -10,000
Total -2, 10,800 /-

And Monthly mess charges Rs. 2,800/- for GDPD
