Key duties of the External Liaison Officer:
Portfolio analysis of research and training activities at NCBS, coordinating with the Dean and Head, Academic Activities

Project Management of annual reports, brochures and related publicity materials for research conducted at NCBS

Generation and maintenance of a range of up-to-date publicity materials for representing research and training activities at NCBS

Outreach to external agencies/individuals seeking research collaborations at NCBS

Media relations for research related activities on the Bangalore Biocluster campus


Role:
Exceptional written, oral and visual communication skills

Strong time-management and interpersonal skills

Good organizational ability

Initiative, enthusiasm and a flexible approach to work

The ability to analyze, summarize and communicate information

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Prior experience in project management will be desirable
