In higher studies you can first go for Master's course and later P.hd. The areas from where you can pursue your Master's course are:-

1.M.Sc Physics.
2.M.Sc Applied Physics.
3.M.Sc Geophysics.
4.M.Sc in Marine Geo Physics.
5.M.Sc in Medical Physics.
6.M.Sc in Engineering Physics.

Now talking about the job areas, you can get job in both private as well as public sector after successful completion of your course.

The Government organisations where you can get job are:-
1.ISRO.
2.DRDO
3.VSSC.
4.SSPL.
5.Research Centres.
6.Research Labratories.

Your job nature will be as a:-
1.Scientist.
2.Teacher.
3.Manager.
4.Technician.
5.Researcher.
6.Consulting Physicist.
7.Research Associate.
