The Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Ltd (GNFC) will be actualizing a Rs 4,463 crore extension extend in Bharuch area of Gujarat, where it will build the current creation limit just about three times for Urea, Ammonia and Aniline at the Narmadanagar plant.

The Union Ministry of Environment and Forests and Climate Change agreed natural freedom to the brownfield extend where organization intends to climb the current creation limit of Urea from 7.2 lakh MTPA (million ton for every annum) to 21.25 lakh MTPA, Ammonia generation from 6.3 lakh MTPA to 16.52 lakh MTPA and Aniline generation from 48,000 MTPA to 1.26 lakh MTPA.

As a feature of this extension extend, the organization has likewise intended to set up a Water Soluble manures (NPK) plant having a limit of 5000 MTPA, and another plant for TDI-MDI mixes of 7800 MTPA limit. The water dissolvable compost plant is being set up with an eye on the quick growing trickle water system arrange in Gujarat and different states.

These developments will be done in the current unit of the organization which is a joint area undertaking advanced by Government of Gujarat and Gujarat State Fertilizer Company Ltd. GNFC authorities affirmed the advancement to The Indian Express.

After the development, GNFC's crisp water necessity from Narmada stream, Ukai channel and Narmada waterway will be expanded to 83,600 cubic meter for each day from the prior 55,000 cubic meter. In the interim, the modern emanating era in GNFC Unit-1 will increment to 25,200 cubic meter for every day after development (from the current 19,700 cubic meter), while that from GNFC Unit-2 will increment to 2,600 cubic meter for every day from the prior 1400 cubic meter.

The modern emanating from the organization will be dealt with in the gushing treatment plant (ETP) and treated profluent will be released to stream Bhukhi in the wake of acquiring consent from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).
