UNIT 2 – LEGISLATIONS RELATED TO EMIGRATION LAWS 18Hrs.
Constitutional Provisions – Citizenship Act, 1955 – Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2003 – The Registration of
Foreigners Act, 1939 – The Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920 – The Passports Act, 1967 – The Emigration Act, 1983 –
The Emigration rules, 1983 – The Emigration rules, 2004.

UNIT 3 – THE EMIGRATION ACT, 1983 18Hrs.
Salient features of the Act – Emigration Authorities – General duties of Protectors of Emigrants, Registration of
Recruiting Agents, Terms and Conditions of Registration, Renewal of Registration, Emigration Clearance – Appeals –
