| shikha | Re: Combined Engineering Services Examination Model Question Paper For Mechanical Recruitment Board of Indian Engineering Services Conducts an Entrance Exam in Order to Recruit Candidates within the Specialized Engineers Cadre Belonging to Mechanical stream. The exam is divided into two Stages namely Stage I and Stage II. Stage I has a total of 1000 marks and Stage II has a total of 200 marks. Stage I has further two sub parts namely Section I and Section II. Section I has objective based pattern and Section II consists of conventional questions. Stage II is a personality format test. Pattern of Stage I: Stage I is a written based entrance test having a total of 1000 marks. Each paper has a total duration of two hours. Stage I is composed of two sub sections consisting of question from General ability referring to General English and General Studies and Mechanical Engineering. Section I has three objective question papers, General Ability, Mechanical Engineering I and Mechanical Engineering II. Each of the three papers belonging to Section I is two hours in duration each with each having 200 marks as maximum. Each of the two papers belonging to Section II is three hours in duration and each has a total of 200 marks as maximum. Pattern of Stage II: Stage II relates to personality test ad carries a total of 200 marks.
