This institute conducts an entrance exam for those students who are interested in designing fields which is known as NEED. NID offers so many professional courses at Undergraduate and post Graduate level which have been given below. 1. GDPD (Graduate Diploma Programme in Design) Duration- 4 years Eligibility- Students can apply after 10+2 or equivalent like AISSCE/ IB/ ISC 2. PGDPD (Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design) Duration - 2 ½ years Eligibility – Graduates candidate. Age criteria-: Minimum 17 years Important Dates- Last registration date- 2nd November, 2012 Design Aptitude Test for PGDPD- 19th January, 2013, Saturday. Design Aptitude Test for GDPD- 20th January, 2013, Sunday. As per your request here I am giving you its syllabus. NID exam syllabus-: Its written exam consists of Studio test and interview test. The examination does not follow any prescribed syllabus and questions are included on following areas. 1. Visual design 2. Subject of design 3. Creativity 4. Drawing skills 5.
