Alumni of this program have emerged as leaders in the tax field. Acting Assistant Professors of Tax Law (Tax AAPs) show promise as legal scholars and have a strong interest in teaching. Current Tax AAPs Ariel Stevenson Jeremy Bearer-Friend Former Tax AAPs Find a complete list of former Tax AAPs, from 1960 through 2018. Compensation and Benefits Tax AAPs receive an annual salary (currently in the low $60,000 range) and benefits, including health insurance. Tax AAPs may also apply for subsidized faculty housing. Each Tax AAP is provided with a regular faculty office, administrative support and a research budget. Important dates to apply: Applications for the 2018-19 academic year will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting on November 15, 2017.
