Region Transmission System-II, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) had announced a notification for the recruitment of Diploma Trainee (Electrical, Civil), Jr Officer Trainee (HR) vacancies in the states of J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and UT of Chandigarh.

Eligible candidates applied online from 07-02-2018 to 27-02-2018.

Name of the Posts:
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 20 Posts
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 05 Posts
3. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR): 03 Posts

Age Limit:
Ones maximum age was as on 27-02-2018:
27 years for UR, 30 years for OBC(NCL), 32 years for SC/ST, for Post 1,
27 years for UR/ST, 30 years for OBC(NCL), 32 years for SC for Post 2,
27 years for UR/ OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST for Post 3
Age relaxation was applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL)/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India Guidelines.

Educational Qualification:
One possessed:
Full Time Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical (Power)/ Power System Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) for Post 1,
Full Time Diploma in Civil Engineering for Post 2,
Full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent for Post 3 from recognized Institute.

Selection Process:
One was selected on Selection Test for Post 1, 2, Selection Test & Computer Skill Test for Post 3.
