Can you give me cut off criteria for admission in B.Tech program at Nirma University??

Nirma University of Science and Technology was established in 1994, and affiliated to Gujarat University. It offers wide range of courses under various faculties and departments.

As you want to know about the B.Tech Eligibility details so here I am providing you.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have appeared for AIEEE.
Candidate must have passed 12th Science Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the percentage of marks as to be decided by the Government of Gujarat under the rules of admission.

University offers B.Tech in following disciplines:

Civil Engineering
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Information Technology
Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Modes of admission:

-25% seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination on the basis of only All India Rank of AIEEE.
-75% seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination from the schools located in Gujarat State on the basis of merit considering equal weightage of marks obtained in AIEEE and the marks obtained in the theory of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-15% supernumerary seats are available for admission to PIO (persons of Indian Origin) and foreign students. Out of this about one-third i.e. 5% seats are reserved for children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries and South East Asia. Please contact Assistant Registrar (Academic)
