NISER stands for National Institute of Science Education and Research provide the course NEST which stands for National Entrance Screening Test it is a compulsory test if you want to take Admission in NISER

Now lets get to know how we can apply for NEST here I am telling you the Eligibility criteria for NEST 2013

The applicant need at least 60% marks Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India can apply . Now there are some rules and regulation for Scheduled Cast (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the aggregate marks limit is 55%. Students who have passed the Class XII qualifying examination in 2011 or 2012 or are appearing in 2013 they also can apply

Now here I am providing you the important dates for NEST 2013

 Website opens for information : January 03, 2013
 Online submission of application starts : January 07, 2013
 Last date for receiving request of application form (postal) : February 20, 2013
 Last date for receipt of completed offline application form with DD : March 08, 2013 (5:30 pm)
 Online applications auto-submit and freeze : March 08, 2013 (midnight)
 Dispatch of offline admit cards starts : April 08, 2013
 Download of online admit cards starts : April 08, 2013
 Date of examination : May 25, 2013 (Saturday), 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
 Announcement of results on NEST website : June 17, 2013
Now the important factor is that how we can apply here I am telling you that how we can apply for NEST

One way and most easy way is to apply On – Line and there I second way is also you can write a requesting letter for the NISER along with DD after it you will get the Application form at your home just filled that and send it back to the respective Institute
Now for On Line form first you need to register yourself with an E- Mail ID after it you can easily login and get the required Application form
