Can you tell me in detail about the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Program] Admissions-NRI/NRI Sponsored Category in Institute of Management of Nirma University?

The details about the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Program] Admissions-NRI/NRI Sponsored Category in Institute of Management of Nirma University are as follows:

NRI (Self) Category/NRI Sponsored Category:

15% of the total intake of the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Programme] will be filled by Institute of Management, Nirma University with following eligibility criteria.

(A) Eligibility:

(a) For NRI (Self)
One must have passed the qualifying exam with 60% aggregate marks from abroad.
The age shall be not more than 20 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.
One will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying exam from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

b) For NRI Sponsored
One should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Exam (10+2) or any other equivalent exam recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks with English as one of the subjects.
The age of shall be not more than 20 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.
Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam in India and must have appeared in UGAT-2018.

NRI Sponsored candidates will have to produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program. Documentary evidence of Sponsored having NRI Status must also be produced.

(B) Application Procedure for NRI Sponsored Category:
One applying admissions under NRI Sponsored category need to apply and appear for the admission test UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) to be conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) on May 12, 2018 at various centres of India.
Visit UGAT website for the details. Last date to apply UGAT May 04, 2018.
In addition to UGAT application form, one is also required to apply for Institute of Management, Nirma University.

Online Application:

One needs to read the Admission Application Instructions carefully before filling up the form.
Users should register a new account to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
After successful login the admission form will be displayed.
NRI Sponsored applicants should complete the online application form and along with payment of non-refundable admission processing fee of Rs.3000/- +other applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit/debit/net banking.
